Walking in Beauty will achieve its objectives by sponsoring events in two formats:
1.) Performances and concerts as stand-alone events and
2.) Combining mentoring for students with performances for the community

April 3, 2004 Flathead Jazz Festival: Walking In Beauty paid homage to America's foremost jazz educator - Herb Pomeroy. Scheduled to conduct, Herb suffered a heart attack. In his place, Jackson Stock conducted the 17-piece orchestra featuring jazz giants Ernie Watts, Abraham Laboriel, Lew Soloff, Bob McChesney, Sam Cernuto, Ron Feuer, and Walt Johnson, Chuck Florence, Brian Ploeger and Harry Blazer.

January 17, 2003 -- Clinic & Concert: Hosted by Columbia Falls High School. Ernie Watts, Lew Soloff, Abraham Laboriel, Ron Feuer, Andy Martin and Harry Blazer were the clinicians. Students from various regional schools participated: Missoula Hellgate H.S., Libby H.S., Columbia Falls H.S., Missoula Big Sky H.S., Flathead Valley Christian School, Hamilton H.S. and Gonzaga Prep School (Spokane). July 27, 2002 -- Walking in Beauty's first concert performance at the O'Shaughnessy Performiing Arts Center in Whitefish, Montana played to a sold-out audience.
